Wakestock 2003 Feedback

I had won tickets through Rock 95 and Coors Light to spend two nights in Wasaga Beach for two. I brought my girlfriend (obviously) which I have no complaints over the weekend, I mean how often can you win 2 nights free stay, wakeboard & bindings, clothing, tickets to the bar, judge a bikini contest, meet the reef girls, wakeboarders, and bands. Party on the Coors Light buses with Brother Bill (EDGE 102) and not pay a thing. I mean can you ask for more or what? One thing, because I was so busy all I could do was take still shots with the digital, I had no time to use the Video camera. I was wondering if you had other shots of wakestock (maybe some closeup of the judges, i'm sitting on the right side closest to the reef girls, or where I can get the DVD of the entire weekend. I recieved 2002 before I went and let me tell you I live on the water and I will be taking up wakeboarding SUMMER 2004 thanks to the greatest event wasaga has ever seen. Please reply THANK YOU.

Last year was my first at wakestock, and it was the best. Perfect weather, hottest chicks, sick riding, great beer. But the problem was that you could only drink in the coors light section. Would be fun to walk around with a few brewsky, and party all over the event. Next summer we are thinking of renting a motorhome and coming down a bunch of us. But we need to plan in advance, so would you let me know the dates for 2004. Thanks, keep up the good work

I really liked the graphics on the 2004 parks series boards. I thought that the molded in fin thing was a good idea. Although I don't ride a board w/ molded in fins. I'm also Curous where that idea came from because its been going on for quite sometime. Later

Nous y serons l'an prochain!!!

What can I say about Wakestock '03? It was my first Wakestock experience and I end up showing up late on Saturday. No worries though cause I was able to catch the finals of the Reef Bikini Contest (need I say more?). That night me and my friends (including Tom 'The Man' Dembie) went to hit the bars of Wasaga Beach. There were too many people and not enough bar. We ended up partying with the guys from Gob on this kick ass patio. Sunday I saw the best wakeboarding in the world watching the Slider comp and the Expression finals. I am definately going to make Wakestock a yearly event. Peace

Best wakeboarding event in the world! Best parties in this universe...from what I remember. Goldfinger were great. Ride on!

Brian Grubb's massive wakeskate 360 off the double up was sick! A 540 next year??? Chad... the guy killed the sliders. I think they're going to need something bigger and crazier for next year. After the riding (and during for those in the beer garden) the parties were everywhere. Props to all who had a good time and still managed to keep things under control by not getting too stupid. I'd love to see more wakeskating next year...maybe a session with the top 3 from Saturday's finals. Where were the top pro American women? Dallas, Maeghan etc. - you have to come next year! Overall, the event was a 10. Way to go everyone who helped make the event what it is!

what a freakin' good time that was. there were bikinis.. and bikinis. we even partied with gob. man, can those guys drink. we're goin next year for sure, but this time we're gonna be a little closer to the beach. parks was unbelievable, he landed some sick tricks and was on fire. maybe i can get some hook ups this time, eh?
