(Vancouver) - This summer's hottest event, the 1st
Annual Wake West Festival, hits Vancouver's False Creek
August 27-29. Single day-pass tickets are now on
sale at all Ticketmaster locations, call (604) 280.4444

www.ticketmaster.ca. Prices are $25 for Friday; $25
for Saturday, and $18 for Sunday. Complete weekend
passes are also available as follows:
· First 993 tickets, $37.45 *SOLD OUT*
· Remainder of advance tickets are $45
· Tickets are $55 at door day of show (taxes and agency
fees are extra).
· Gates: Friday, August 27: noon-10 pm. Saturday, August

False Creek at the Plaza of Nations hosts three days of
insane wakeboarding
action, a huge vendor village, beer gardens, and two
music stages showcasing
over 30 of Canada's best bands and deejays including:

in the Canadian National Wakeboard Championships, which
includes the crowd
favourite Slider and Wakeskate events. With $10,000 in

National title up for grabs, Wake West will see the best
