wake boarding, by Alexandra Towers

Angry River so unchallenged
until I annihilate your masculinity
Slicing through
perfect currents
Defying the dominance
shredding the skin
My machine knows no hesitation
Laughing as i catapult
above your vindictive ways

soaring with the
eagle

picking out my prey

conquering
you as i ride away

Wakeboard Comp, by Britt

Out at the competition,
1st place was my biggest mission.
I studied the other riders tricks,
I saw a few wicked flips..

I knew I had no chance.

I still went out and tried my best.
I got compliments from all the rest.
Kept on trying for years to come,
and now im finally # 1!!

Thanks so ambition,
I completed my mission.
And now im # 1!!

My Old Wakeboard, by M-RJ.

One day I went to a wakeboarding store called Haunted's,
They had a wakeboard that I really wanted,
But the cost was truly haunted.

I was really bored,
So I asked my mom for a new board,
She said go pray to the Lord.

I changed into some jeans,
Then ate some jellybeans,
Meanwhile listening to some Billy Jean.

When I was finished being bored
Once again I looked at my old Wakeboard,
And said oh Lord.

I went to ask my Dad for some money,
And he said maybe later honey,
He followed by saying he wasn't made of money.

I got a summer job,
Over at Crazy Bob's,
They sell corn on the cob.

After a couple of weeks of saving up my money,
My Dad said great job honey,
Then he counted my money.

I now have enough money for the wakeboard,
So I went over to the Wakeboard store,
And looked at the board.

I bought the Wakeboard,
Now I am not bored,
And I thank the Lord.

Wake Contest, by J.B.

the water was calm
the boat was running
the crowd was roaring

as i put on my bindings
i began to get nervous
as i looked around

i yelled to the driver
i was ready to begin
the crowds went silent

i started my first trick
as the competition began
i landed perfectly

the rest of the competition went well
i landed my 360 perfectly
the competition was over

the judges had made their decision
i found out later...
that i got 1st place!

Spontaneous Pop, by billi

Flip, take a trip, pop up to the sky.
Mobius, 720, Hoochie up high.
Grab 'er slob, nose bone, poke 'er out too.
Style and originality, face plant, deep blue.
Braint fart, no nice, bummer dude, you blew.
You tight on the board, loose, chill, have a brew.

Watch Dick go huge, and Jane fly high.
Be flimsy like a noodle, a wobbly from Shanghai.
Original taste, like licorice or jelly, wear a vest buddy
Or you'll smack your beer belly.
Dock slide, butter slide, grind it like Betty.
Barney you stink, check out Fat Freddy.

Now rest all your bones and chill by the beach.
Tomorrow by 10 Pop, pop out of reach.

Need a Pull, by Ryan Williams

Sunday Late afternoon
Got out of Bed
There was a lot of druel
My face was red
I had something to prove

I grabbed my hat
Wakeboard too
went to the dock
and waited for the crew

I was so excited to start off the day
when i didn't realize
I forgot to tuck something away

You can only imagine what i'm talking about
so i went inside and rubbed one out
The guys called me a punk
but i can't help it
I haven't had any for months

Here's your chance...be creative and original!
