Bala Ontario, August 14 2004— Trauma Tour, Warp Tour, or
Team Challenge? That was a decision most people were
faced with on Saturday August 14th. For some people, the
decision was simple: if you wanted the true hardcore
wakeboard/skate scene, you will have chosen the Team
Challenge.

Between the beer, live music, backyard wrestling, and
riding, there was plenty that made this the event to
attend. Definitely, one of the highlights was the
wakeskate "best trick" jam session. Riders dropped into
a 30-foot long pool to a tabletop slider over a Buick
Skylark. The competition heated up when rider Jono
Boysen started attempting shuvits to backside board
slides over the Skylark. After numerous close attempts
by Jono, it was Dave Bemman who finally stepped-up and
stuck the trick. Upon returning to shore, Dave was met
by well-deserved accolades, for everyone knew that he
had stuck the wakeskate trick of the day.
So next year, make the right decision. Go to the Team
Challenge and watch your local bros throw down!
