Event Background
On July 10th 2010, wakeboarders from Manitoba converged on West Hawk
Lake in the Whiteshell Provincial Park, for Hawkstock. The event
started years ago as King of the Lake wakeboard competition, and has
evolved into a day of taking over the main beach for a winch session.

Like most events, none of this could be possible without the help of
many hard working dedicated volunteers. Hawkstock would like
to give a special shout out to Duncan Jessiman from Winnipeg
Sport and Leisure, for all his hard work and effort in making this
event possible. This year Duncan made several 3 hour commutes to and
from the lake to bring out sliders/rail materials, a Malibu wakesetters
and Yamaha Waverunners.
The event continues to grow with each year, and people are already
looking forward to the 2011 event!
