Presented by Billabong, The Monster Army, Gordon Bay Marine and Paris Marine in conjunction with SBCWakeboard.com, SBC Wakeboard Magazine, Liquid Force, Hyperlite, CWB, Ronix, Sattelyte, RadGalz, Wake to Wake Camps

Over 140 riders competed in Canada's biggest grassroots am contest with dozens of competitor categories and tons of prizes covering all levels and ages of riders. The youngest rider was 7 years old and oldest 52! The Malibu Boats Wakestock Amateur Championship is also the only amateur contest in the world where an unranked, unknown am rider can qualify for a Pro World Series! This year the four top amateur wakeboarders: Dary Znebel, Gavin Hicks, Mike McBrearty and Dominic Sirois all qualified for the Billabong Pro Wakeboard contest and a chance to compete against the biggest names in the world, as did Brady Hicks in Malibu Boats Pro Wakeskate. Gavin Hicks and Brady Hicks both finished 3rd in their respective pro wakeboard and pro wakeskate heats, just one spot shy of qualifying for the quarter-finals!
