Sarnia's WAKE-up Call

Sarnia Wake-up Call 2009 logo

After a successful first year, Sarnia’s WAKE-up Call is back for 2009!

WAKE-up Call will be back again and taking over Centennial park in Sarnia, Ontario on July 25th and 26th, 2009.

Sarnia’s WAKE-up Call works in partnership with Sarnia’s annual Ribfest that takes place on the same weekend. Ribfest is host to the best ribs and a free live concert on Friday, July 24th performed by 54-40. SWUC will be host to an on water and on land professional wakeboard and wakeskate contest. The on land winch jam will be hosted on two massive inflatable pools. This was a huge hit last year and will continue to be strong for 2009. The on land winch jam contest works in partnership with Big Brothers of Sarnia-Lambton. Each professional rider is partnered up with a Little Brother for the day and prize packs are awarded to the riders throughout the weekend in which they are donated to their Little Brother. Sarnia’s WAKE-up Call will be hosting both an amateur and amateur outlaw division this year and are currently looking for riders that would be interested in competing.

If you are interested in participating in either of the amateur divisions, please contact Chris Smith @ chris@wakeupcallonline.net

The first ever Sarnia's WAKE-up Call (SWUC) was a one of a kind, non traditional wakeboard/wakeskate event. Sarnia’s WAKE-up Call will remain a free admission event for 2009.
