About Jay Bay School of Wake

Jay Bay School of Wake provides an enjoyable experience if you have a desire to learn or enhance your skills in wakeboarding. Both Jason and our boat drivers have St Johns Ambulance and CPR training. Coaches have Certification for wakeboard coaching and the mandatory “Respect in Sports” sponsored by Sport Manitoba.

A boat’s wake is where it starts and Jay Bay School of Wake exclusively operates The Malibu VLX. Manitoba’s Malibu specialist is Duncan Jessiman of Winnipeg Watersports. Duncan Jessiman and Jason have spent many years together coaching and competing in Manitoba and Canadian competitions.

Jay Bay School of Wake will operate in Winnipeg on the Red River and also offer weekly and weekend clinics in Lac Du Bonnet, Manitoba.

Wake Coach - Jason Bannatyne

Jason has been involved in wakeboarding since an early age. He competes at international levels and for the past five years has trained in the U.S. in the off-season.

Jason brings this experience to his coaching along with his extreme passion for wakeboarding.
