Summer Water Sports brings to
you “Summers for Sick Kids”, the first ever urban
charity wakeboard event. This free event will be located at Boardsports
2008 Yonge Street 2 blocks north of Yonge and Davisville. All profits
will be donated to The Hospital for Sick Children. Come watch
wakeboarders and wakeskaters ride through pools and slide across 20
foot rails while being towed by high powered winches.
There will be thousands of dollars of summer clothing and accessories
on sale. Come get all your summer clothing and help support a great
cause. All outdoor sales will be donated to charity! Participants and
Spectators will also enjoy BBQ lunches.
If you would like to Ride in the event and participate in the
expression session competition on Saturday you must apply to ride by
May 25th. Great prizes will be awarded to the riders’ choice
for best trick.
