The Motown Showdown Manitoba's newest and hottest Wakeboard comp hits Morden
May 14, 2005 The Motown Showdown, running June 25th and 26th at Lake Minnewasta . The Showdown will unveil Manitoba's newest sliders and the new head to head format. Friday the 24th all the riders will have a chance to session all the sliders, freerider, Skate or surf. The morning of June 25th the comp will start with the Jr Men, Jr Women then the main events - the Pro Women and Pro men. With Manitoba's hottest dj's and bands rockin' out in the beached beer gardens all day. Later that night join all the riders at the Travelers Inn bar for the after party of the year. Featuring the Premier of Obrien's newest video Overdue and you know it the wet t-shirt contest. Sunday the 26th join the riders and the Hangtime team on the water for a little bit of freeriding. Where it is all about progression. With the end of the day awards will be handed out for best trick, worst fall and dopest surf. If ridings not your thing then join us at the first annual KP rider and industry golf tournament. Where there will also be awrds handed out.
