ON, Summer, 2005: On behalf of Sun and Ski, MasterCraft,
The Muskoka Magazine, The Muskokan, Cottage Life Magazine,
Stokecity, Surf Paradise and you. The Search for the X-STAR
is a wakeboard video submission contest. Submissions of VHS, DVD
or digital format (for online submissions) are required for the contest. Participants
must include a brief introduction of themselves with proper
contact information, along with their wakeboard set
demonstrating their best trick or bail. The Top 10 videos
will be chosen and the winning participants will be
contacted and invited to our Finale Contest to ride with a
pro behind MasterCraft’s 2005 X-STAR before our expert
judges to determine the Top 3 winners. We are calling upon
all riders from Ontario to submit their footage for a chance
to join us and meet with a MasterCraft Sponsored Pro at Sun
and Ski’s waterfront in Bala on Lake Muskoka for the Finale
Contest Day Saturday, July 16, 2005 from 10-3. All video
entries must be in by Sunday, July 10, 2005. All Top Ten
Finalist will receive 2 weekend passes to Wakestock. The Top
Three all receive Sun and Ski Sponsorship and media &
internet recognition. 1st Place Prize receives automatic
entry into the amateur line up for wakestock; chances to
meet the pros and ride in the official tow boat during the
competition and a $500 gift certificate from Surf Paradise.
2nd Place Prize receives a full day of wakeboarding with
lessons behind the MasterCraft 2005 X-STAR for you and three
friends. 3rd Place Prize receives a $200 gift certificate
from Surf Paradise.
